Where to Sleep

After the security checkpoints at Bradley Airport close for the night, passengers are restricted to landside only. Passengers sleeping airside will be required to go back to landside until security reopens, and will need to clear security again to re-enter. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Benches and chairs in the carpeted hallway leading to the Sheraton Airport Hotel can be used for sleeping passengers. The hallway is quiet, but bright, so a sleeping mask could help. Ear plugs are also a good idea to have when trying to take a nap at the airport.

The lower-level baggage claim at Bradley Airport also has two lounge areas with comfy couches and flat screen TVs. If you’re not one for sleeping at the airport itself, there is a hotel connected to the airport and there are several others nearby to choose from. Many of these options offer free airport shuttles.

Dining and Shopping

Bradley Airport offers a variety of shops and restaurants. Most of the airport’s shops and restaurants close at night, but two restaurants and a Dunkin Donuts have extended hours. Food concessions throughout the airport operate on varying schedules, with most of them opening between 4:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.

ATMs/Cash Machines

On landside of Bradley Airport, ATMs are located in the baggage claim area and across from the Delta ticket counter. On airside, they’re located in the main terminal near the CNBC store, Shades Sunglasses and Travelmart, as well as in the Gates 1-12 Concourse next to Locks Landing Restaurant.

Baby Care

Bradley Airport offers a Mother’s Nursing Room, which features comfortable seating, a changing table, a sink and power outlets for breast pumps. The location of the Mother’s Nursing Room is airside next to the CNBC store.

Entertainment

The New England Air Museum is about a 10-minute car or taxi ride from Bradley Airport. The museum offers interactive displays for kids and aviation enthusiasts.
